Blog Tour + Review: "Only One Night" by Natasha Madison

Today, I am excited to join the blog tour celebrating the release of "Only One Night" by Natasha Madison, book #3 of the Only One series. It reads as a complete standalone, though I have loved both of the previous books in the series and highly recommend them.

The main characters of "Only One Night," Manning and Evelyn, were both quite likeable and sympathetic, and their chemistry was fantastic. When the two of them were together, I could practically see the sparks flying from the screen of my Kindle! Their story will likely generate some controversy because there is a cheating element, and that's usually something I avoid. However, Manning and Evelyn's relationship never really felt like cheating to me. Manning's marriage was clearly over in all but name, and his erstwhile wife, Murielle, was a truly terrible human being who threatened to keep his son from him if he tried to divorce her. Manning and his son Jaxon deserved better than to be held hostage by someone who was only using them as props for her public image, so watching them become a family with the kind, caring Evelyn was lovely.

I've been looking forward to Manning's story ever since he was introduced earlier in the series and am so happy that he finally got his HEA. I recommend "Only One Night" for all fans of emotional contemporary romance and sports romance. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. (Based on the bomb dropped in this story's epilogue, I think it's going to be a doozy!)

About "Only One Night"

Manning
As captain of the Dallas Oilers, I was their leader on and off the ice. From the outside, it looked like I had the perfect life.

I didn’t.

I was married to a woman who refused to give me a divorce. All she wanted was the status title, and all I wanted was to be set free.

It was supposed to be just another event, except it took a turn I didn’t see coming.

Evelyn
Attending my best friend’s bachelorette party isn’t something I was looking forward to.
But it’s strange what a couple of glasses of wine will do.

It was one night, and I thought I would never see him again.

Especially not coming face-to-face with him and his wife while picking up my nephew from hockey practice.

All it takes is one kiss, one touch, one chance, and only one night.
