Release Blitz + Review: "The Bold and the Bullheaded" by Willow Aster and Laura Pavlov

I'm super excited to take part in today's release blitz celebrating "The Bold and the Bullheaded" by authors Willow Aster and Laura Pavlov, book #2 of the G.D. Taylors series. It works well as a standalone, though characters from the previous book in the series also make appearances in this one.

"The Bold and the Bullheaded" was a delightful enemies-to-lovers romance between developer Spence Taylor, the eldest of the five Taylor siblings, and attorney Emma Kingsley. Sparks flew between Spence and Emma almost as soon as they met, shortly after Emma's best friend Mya began dating Spence's brother Jesse. It was only a matter of time before their explosive chemistry became too much for either of them to ignore. I loved their snarky banter and the way they teased each other, which took on a whole new dimension after they finally gave into their feelings.

As in the previous book, the relationship between the Taylor brothers was a highlight of the story; they frequently teased each other and even played a few pranks, but it was obvious how much they loved each other. I also enjoyed Emma's grandmother, Yaya, and father, Sam, who were always so supportive of her, even if they sometimes showed that support in unconventional ways. I'd love to read a future story in which Sam finds love! He sacrificed so much to raise Emma on his own, and he deserves a chance to be happy now that she's grown. Finally, it was great to see Mya's parents, Frank and Estella, again. I felt awful for the Taylor family when they were subjected to Estella's cooking (though thankfully not as awful as Gus!). That chapter was hands down my favorite of the entire book. I could not stop laughing!

Overall, I loved "The Bold and the Bullheaded" and highly recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book of the series!

About "The Bold and the Bullheaded"

Emma…
I don’t do feelings.
Especially not with an arrogant, broody Taylor brother.
But one moment of weakness on an elevator wrecks me.
I curse his name.
I curse said elevator.
Yet I find myself wanting to be trapped in a small space with Spence Taylor again.
And don’t even get me started on his day job.
The man can do just about anything with those hands.
Those big hands, and er—big feet.
I digress.

Spence…
Emma Kingsley is the most infuriating woman I’ve ever known.
Stubborn, arrogant, and sexy as sin.
She drives me crazy.
And she’s determined to hate me.
The funny thing is—I can’t get enough.
But the woman has more walls up than the royal palace.
Lucky for her, I make a living tearing down walls.
And I just found my favorite project.
Time to renovate, Queenie.
