Release Blitz + Review: "Bitter Love" by Emily Goodwin

Today, I'm pleased to take part in the release blitz celebrating "Bitter Love" by Emily Goodwin, book #2 of the Silver Ridge series. ("Backup Plan" and "Desperate Times," the duet that kicked off the series, are in the process of being combined into a single book.) Characters from the previous book (as well as the earlier Dawson Family series) make brief appearances in this one, but it reads as a standalone.

Becoming a mom at 17 meant that Josie Walker had to give up her dream of being a veterinarian, but there's nothing she wouldn't do for her 14-year-old daughter Everly. When she learns that Everly is being bullied and school officials aren't doing anything to address the situation, single mom Josie decides to pull her daughter out of class and take her to visit her Aunt Kim in the small town of Silver Ridge. Everly shares Josie's love of horses, and she hopes that spending time with the animals at Kim's horse rescue will be therapeutic for them both. When Kim suddenly passes away shortly after their arrival, leaving the farm to Josie, she decides to stay in Silver Ridge permanently and take over her aunt's rescue work. Unfortunately, local veterinarian Jacob Harris isn't pleased with Josie's decision; he doesn't think she fully understands the amount of work or the financial commitment involved in caring for Kim's animals, many of which have been traumatized by years of neglect and abuse. She's determined to prove him wrong, no matter how difficult it may be.

The enemies-to-lovers aspect of Jacob and Josie's romance was very well done. There was genuine conflict and a constant push-pull between them that gave their relationship a great deal of depth and complexity. That said, while I am generally a huge fan of the slow burn trope, the slow burn between Josie and Jacob was almost painfully slow. They didn't even kiss for the first time until 85% in the Kindle edition! It was ON after that, however; things got very steamy, very quickly. I will also note that this is a slow-paced, character-driven story, complete with lots of introspection from both Jacob and Josie. For the most part, that didn't bother me, though TBH I could have done without a few of Josie's inner monologues (particularly the one on her aunt's cremation).

Overall, I did enjoy "Bitter Love" and would recommend it for fans of angsty/emotional contemporary romance. It's certainly a unique story, and the author's passion and love of horses shines through in her writing. I look forward to picking up the next book in the series, hopefully featuring Jacob's brother Mason.

About "Bitter Love"

If there's one thing I know to be certain in life, it's to expect the unexpected. I never expected to become a teen mom or have to flee a toxic relationship years later. And I certainly never expected to go head-to-head with Jacob Harris, doctor of veterinary medicine, to prove I'm worthy of running the struggling rescue full of misfit animals I suddenly inherited.

Jacob is as smug as he is good looking, and I refuse to let that cocky grin or sharp jawline distract me. I won't go down without a fight, and this time, it'll be easy to stand my ground when my opponent is someone I can't stand--even though my body reacts whenever he's around. This time I'm not backing down no matter how much he gets under my skin.

But the more I push, the more he pulls...until I don't know what I'm more at a risk of losing: the rescue or my heart.

Review: "Truth and Temptation" by Julia Jarrett

Truth and Temptation Truth and Temptation by Julia Jarrett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

"Truth and Temptation" was my favorite book of the Dogwood Cove series so far! Featuring endearing, relatable characters and a compelling plot, I had a tough time putting it down. I particularly loved the female lead, quirky bookstore owner Paige Millstone, who had never really dated much or been strongly attracted to a man before. Everything changed when Paige met Wyatt Crawford, who helped her discover a whole new side of herself.

Loving Paige didn't come easily for Wyatt after losing his twin brother to cancer, especially when he discovered that she suffered from a chronic illness that wasn't always well controlled. He was afraid of once again losing the person he loved most in the world. He couldn't fight his attraction to Paige for long, however, and I loved the way their relationship grew and deepened over the course of the story.

As in previous books of the series, the "found family" aspect of this story was also very well done. The way Paige's friends supported and encouraged her was so sweet, especially when it seemed as if her relationship with Wyatt wasn't going to work out. Ethan and Reid's big brother act when they first met Wyatt in the bar was pretty cute, too.

Overall, I adored "Truth and Temptation" and highly recommend it for all fans of contemporary/small town romance. I look forward to the next book of the series, hopefully featuring Paige's friend Serena.

Blog Tour + Excerpt + Review: "Book Smart" by Amanda Pennington

I'm happy to take part in the blog tour celebrating the release of "Book Smart" by Amanda Pennington, book #3 of the multi-author Work For It series published by Smartypants Romance.

Melanie "Mel" Hirsch has always dreamed of having a successful writing career, but for now, she works as a writing tutor for a local university. When she comes across an advice article from the 1950s on how to find a husband and starts to wonder if any of the suggestions would work in the modern world, she decides to test the theory and use the results of her experiments as the basis for her first book. If she's lucky, maybe she'll meet a nice guy along the way, too. Unfortunately, her friend and co-worker, Cameron Whitacre, an adjunct computer science professor and director of IT at the university where Mel works, isn't too keen on the idea. He claims that he's concerned about Mel's safety since she'll be meeting a number of strange men while conducting her experiments, but the truth is that he's secretly been in love with her ever since they met five years ago and has been waiting for her to notice him ever since. Mel has a bit of a crush on Cameron too, but won't let herself act on it because she's afraid of messing up their friendship. Besides, she doesn't believe that he returns her romantic feelings; if he did, wouldn't he have made a move at some point in all the years they've known each other? The more involved Mel gets with her "research," the more frustrated Cameron becomes. Will he gather the courage to confess his true feelings before it's too late?

I really enjoyed the unique premise of this story as well as Mel's "mancounters," which were generally pretty funny. Most of the advice she followed from the article was terrible, even for the 1950s! I also enjoyed the humorous group texts between Mel, Cameron, and their mutual friend Ivy. However, I was a bit frustrated by Cameron and Mel's prolonged unwillingness to talk to each other about their feelings, both because it was so obvious how they felt about each other and because they both seemed stuck, unable to move forward with their lives as long as things between them remained unresolved. When the conversation finally happened, it was very late in the story, so we didn't get to see much of them as a couple before the book ended.

Overall, "Book Smart" was a cute, funny story that I recommend for all fans of sweet contemporary romance and romantic comedy. It's an excellent debut for author Amanda Pennington, and I will certainly be watching to see what she writes next.

About "Book Smart"

Book Smart, an all new friends-to-lovers sweet romance by debut author Amanda Pennington, is available now in Kindle Unlimited!

Melanie Hirsch is tired of watching life pass her by…

I’ve spent the last few years watching my dreams of a writing career and true love fade away, settling for a dead-end job and denying my feelings for my best friend – until I find a list of dating advice for single women to “find a husband” in the 1950s. I decide to experiment: try out the 1950s advice on my 21st-century dating pool and write about the results. If love is timeless, some of the dating advice still holds value. Maybe my experiment will launch my writing career. Maybe I’ll get over my best friend and meet someone new. Either way, I’m done watching from the sidelines.

Cameron Whitacre can’t wait forever…

I’ve spent the last few years in love with my best friend, hoping she’ll notice my friendly overtures have more than friendly intentions – but before I realize what’s happening, she declares me her wingman for a dating experiment. This idea could launch her writing career, so I’m trying to be supportive. But her experiment turns my life into a desperation-fueled dumpster fire. I need to show her how I feel without jeopardizing our friendship, all before she falls for someone else.

"Book Smart" is a full-length contemporary romance and can be read as a standalone. Book #3 in the Work For It series, Educated Romance World, Penny Reid Book Universe.

Read an Excerpt from "Book Smart"

A man with perfect golden-blond hair and a slim-cut suit appeared next to me. He smiled with the bright ease of someone who’s had enough alcohol to lower his inhibitions but not enough to make him obnoxious—yet.

“I don’t think I’ve seen you here before.” He gestured at my face with his Guinness.

“I’m new here.”

He grinned. “This is like a throwback to college days, huh?”

Not any college I’d ever been to.

“Right,” I said, “those good ol’ days.”

“So tell me.” He stepped closer. “Are you here for the business or the fun?”

My best friend Ivy hadn’t mentioned which business we were supposed to be involved in, so—“I’m here for the fun.”

Guinness’s smile took on an edge. “Excellent. Want to dance?”

Glancing around for Cameron and Ivy, I couldn’t spot them. The lone bartender was busy with a large crowd, so Cameron would be a long while, and Ivy must’ve been tied up with the host. Besides, wasn’t the point of being here to meet someone new? “Sure.”

We moved to the dance floor at the edge of the pool, swaying with the bass. The light of the chandelier above us cast a glow over everyone, and Guinness looked charming in the glass refractions, his golden hair glinting.

His lips brushed my ear. “You’re beautiful.”

It was nice, feeling charmed.

I took a breath to answer him with my own compliment—probably about his pretty hair—when my gaze locked on Cameron. He stood across the room, leaning one shoulder against an exposed pillar. I smiled at him, but he didn’t return it. He just stared. My rhythm faltered. Tossing back the last of his drink—which actually might have been the gin and tonic he got for me—he moved through the crowd without the ease and friendliness he’d had earlier. No mischief lit his face. He didn’t look away from me—not once—and I forgot that Guinness existed at all.

Cameron broke eye contact when he reached us, glancing at Guinness before opening his mouth to speak.

The crowd on the dance floor surged, jostling us toward the pool. Cameron’s hands reached for me at the same moment Guinness let go of me. An instant passed as we fell into the pool, and then warm, chlorinated water surged up my nose. Even though I didn’t stay under for long, I gulped breaths when my head broke through the surface of the water. The shock of suddenly being in the water, not to mention Cameron’s actions, had left me breathless.

“Pool party!” someone yelled—it sounded like Guinness—and people jumped in at random. The water churned, and chaos reigned. The suits and tuxedos and gowns made a colorful kaleidoscope in the turquoise water.

Cameron grasped my hand underwater. “Are you okay?”

“Yes. Are you?” I sputtered around a wave of water when someone cannonballed next to me.

A man swam into view but I didn’t recognize him until he spoke. The dim lighting of the chandelier was replaced with the harsh blue glow of underwater pool lights, and his golden hair was now flat against his head. He looked completely different. Wet Guinness was not at all attractive.

“Did you bring a swimsuit?” Guinness asked.

Irritation jabbed at me. Did I look like I was expecting a late-night swim? “No.”

He grinned. “I don’t mind.”

And that was my cue to leave. I already felt disoriented from the surprise swim, but this? It wasn’t his fault we were in the pool, or that he looked bad without his golden hair, but it was his fault for suggesting skinny-dipping at this exact moment.

Book note: The appeal of skinny-dipping relies entirely on the context.

I turned away and followed Cameron to the edge of the pool, moving through the water in that vaguely weightless, slow stride I’d seen Grandma use in her water aerobics classes. He climbed out first and then turned to offer me a hand.

I looked up. Oh.

Mr. Darcy at the lake had nothing on Cameron emerging from the pool. Clingy, wet clothes; rivulets of water streaming down his chest; his cowlick sticking on end even as it dripped. Frantically looking away, I took his hand. I couldn’t let Cameron see me staring—he’d never let me live it down.

Review: "Right Number, Wrong Girl" by Emma Hart

Right Number, Wrong Girl Right Number, Wrong Girl by Emma Hart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sophie Smith has been scrambling to find a new job ever since her former boss was arrested for embezzlement, leaving the company essentially bankrupt. It's been weeks since she was laid off and she still hasn't found anything new, but her best friend and roommate Camilla, a successful event planner, has been happy to cover the bills in the meantime. When Camilla gets stuck in Norway due to the combination of a family emergency and a late winter storm, she calls in the favor and begs Sophie to fill in for her on a job planning the Dowager Duchess of Devon's upcoming 80th birthday party. Sophie may be one of the least organized people in England, but she can't say no to her best friend, so she reluctantly agrees to help. A case of mistaken identity creates complications from the outset, but Sophie's doing her best, no matter what the Dowager Duchess's grandson Hugo, the Earl of Exmoor and heir to the current Duke of Devon, may think. She just has to hold on until Camilla gets there - and try not to fall in love with Hugo in the meantime...

Sophie and Hugo didn't exactly hit it off at first, but there was so much chemistry between them just waiting to ignite, and I loved their bickering and snarky banter. Once they warmed up to each other, they were super cute together, and it was easy for me to root for them to overcome the challenges that stood in the way of their relationship.

As I've stated in previous reviews, one of Hart's particular strengths is creating lovable, quirky secondary characters, and the ones in this book were no exception. For example, Hugo's grandmother Evelyn was a ton of fun. I really enjoyed her constant battles with his mother, the Duchess. I also loved Sophie's parents. I laughed so hard at the image of her mom threatening to murder someone with her slipper and then planning how to hide the body!

Overall, I adored this funny, sweet story and highly recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. I can't wait to find out what Hart plans to write next.

Release Blitz + Review: "The Scorecard" by Maren Moore

Today, I'm thrilled to participate in the release blitz celebrating "The Scorecard" by Maren Moore, book #3 of the Totally Pucked series as well as part 1 of the Graham and Emery duet.

Emery Davidson swore off dating athletes years ago after a hockey player broke her heart, but it's tough to avoid athletes completely when her brother Reed is a professional hockey player. As far as Emery is concerned, Reed's best friend and teammate, Graham Adams, is the worst of them all. He's a total player with a different puck bunny on speed dial for every day of the week and the last man on Earth she'd ever consider dating. Secretly, however, Graham has been nursing a crush on Emery since the day they met, and when a night of celebration offers him the chance for some enemies with benefits action, he's quick to seize the opportunity to show Emery exactly how good they could be together. When that night has unexpected consequences, Emery and Graham are forced to figure out their future as co-parents - and maybe more.

Full disclosure: I am not a fan of duets. I generally avoid them at all costs because I think cliffhangers are pretty much the worst thing ever. That said, I absolutely adore Maren Moore's hockey hotties, so I knew I had to give this duet a chance. So far, I'm really glad I did! Obviously, I have no idea what's still to come for Graham and Emery in book 2, but I loved the way their relationship developed in book 1, and I'm glad the author didn't try to rush things by squeezing everything into a single book. The relationship so far has developed at exactly the perfect pace for them, and I've loved all of the delicious steam and flirty, teasing banter along the way.

I highly recommend "The Scorecard" for all fans of contemporary/sports romance and romantic comedy and can't wait to get my hands on part 2 of the duet next month!

About "The Scorecard"

Pretending to be married to my brother’s best friend and my biggest enemy is the last thing I imagined I’d be doing.

But there was a thin line between lust and hate, and when I fell into bed with the NHL’s rookie playboy, I found out just how easy that line got blurred.

We were enemies with benefits, but then two pink lines changed it all.

Now he was bringing me back home to his family’s farm and faking it became real… in more ways than one.

He was meant to be the enemy but falling for him meant letting him win.

The Scorecard
Graham: 1
Me: 0

**The Scorecard is book 1 of a duet and is approximately 60,000 words. This book does end on a cliffhanger.**

Review: "Faking Ever After" by Chiara Crane

Faking Ever After by Chiara Crane
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Natalie Greer is dreading spending the summer in her hometown of Willow Springs filming the "family reunion" season of her parents' reality program, The Ever After Show, but when the show's executive producer offers her the chance to make a pilot of the travel show she's been dreaming of hosting for years, she reluctantly agrees to participate. The worst part about coming home is being forced back into proximity with Jesse Finch, the son of her parents' co-hosts and her former high school crush. When a scandal involving Jesse's parents breaks and threatens the future of the show, the producers decide to try and shift the public's attention by creating a fake relationship between Jesse and Natalie. Things didn't exactly end well between them back in high school, but as she gets to know Jesse again, Natalie realizes that she may have misjudged him all those years ago. Will Natalie and Jesse get a second chance at their first love, or will their relationship be canceled along with their parents' show?

Jesse and Natalie were super cute together and I really enjoyed their snarky banter. The problem was that they were opposites in a lot of ways, and that definitely created some problems for them to work through. For example, Jesse was a homebody who loved his life in Willow Springs, while Natalie couldn't wait to go and see the world, especially her beloved volcanoes. In the end, I think they found a good balance that would allow them both to do what they loved, and it was great fun cheering them on to their HEA.

I recommend "Faking Ever After" for all romantic comedy fans and look forward to the next book in the series.

Review: "Pretending Ever After" by Chiara Crane

Pretending Ever After Pretending Ever After by Chiara Crane
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Shannon Bryce is the associate producer of the Ever After Show, a reality program focused on saving relationships that are in trouble. A big part of her job is finding couples to be featured on the show and preparing them to film their episodes. When she has trouble getting the latest guests to cooperate, she reaches out to their adult son, software developer Adam Nguyen. He promises to convince his parents to fall in line in exchange for Shannon's agreement to act as his fake fiancee while she's in town. His much older female boss has been harassing him, and he hopes that bringing his "fiancee" to the company's upcoming product launch celebrations will convince her to stop. When Adam and Shannon finally meet in person, they find that there's an instant connection between them that has nothing to do with the roles they're playing, but Shannon is concerned that getting involved with Adam for real will jeopardize her job. Besides, she's only in town for a few days. That's not enough time to fall in love...or is it?

I really enjoyed this fast-paced, funny, and sweet story. Adam and Shannon were both kind of shy and awkward at times, but they were somehow perfect when they were together. Even though their relationship developed quickly, I believed in the strength of their feelings for each other, and it was easy for me to cheer them on to their HFN/HEA.

I recommend this story for all romantic comedy fans. It's a great introduction to a new series and I look forward to finding out what's to come in future books.

Release Blitz + Review: "Always Mine" by Laura Pavlov

I'm excited to take part in the release blitz celebrating "Always Mine" by Laura Pavlov, book #1 of the Honey Mountain series.

Vivian Thomas was on her way to break up with her longtime boyfriend when she found him cheating on her with a co-worker. It hurt even though she had known in advance that the relationship was over, but what's worse is that only six months later, her ex is engaged to his mistress and has invited Vivi to the wedding. She immediately declines the invitation, but it makes her start to think about everything she's missed by dating the same guy since high school. She wants more experience before she settles down, and who better than her best friend Niko West, the ultimate playboy, to help her get it? Afraid of messing up their friendship, Niko does his best to resist Vivi's advances, but it's not long before the attraction between them becomes too powerful to ignore. When they realize how good they are together, will friendship still be enough, or can Vivi convince Niko that they're meant to be more than just a temporary fling?

I loved this story so much! Niko and Vivi were completely adorable together, and the shift in their relationship from friends to lovers was perfectly paced. Niko's fears about being in a serious relationship were completely understandable after everything he went through in his childhood, but he worked hard to overcome them so that he could give Vivi the life she wanted and deserved. Beneath his sometimes grumpy exterior, Niko had a heart of gold, and the way he interacted with his little niece, Mabel, proved that his worries about turning into his father were unfounded.

I highly recommend "Always Mine" for all fans of contemporary/small town romance. It's a fantastic start to Pavlov's new series and I can't wait to see what's to come in future books. (Hopefully one of those books will include a happy ending for Niko's friend and fellow firefighter Jace!)

About "Always Mine"

He fights fires for a living, but the flames building between us may be too big to extinguish.

Niko West is the most beautiful man I’ve ever laid eyes on.
Six feet, four inches of broody, chiseled Greek god in a firefighter suit.
He’s also been my best friend since kindergarten.
He always says the only solid thing in his life is our friendship.

He’s Honey Mountain's favorite player and I’m what you’d call a relationship girl.
But when I find myself single for the first time since turning sixteen, I make Niko an offer he can’t refuse.
Who better to show me what I’ve been missing?
But now that we’ve crossed that line, I don’t know if friendship is enough for me.

Blog Tour + Excerpt + Review: "Parks and Provocation" by Juliette Cross

I'm delighted to take part in the blog tour celebrating the release of "Parks and Provocation" by Juliette Cross, book #2 of the multi-author Green Valley Heroes series published by Smartypants Romance.

Lola Landry and Jedediah Dawson were nemeses in high school; he nicknamed her Coca-Cola Lola because of the thick glasses she wore, and she retaliated by calling him Jockstrap Jed because he was a star on the football team. Secretly, they had huge crushes on each other, though they graduated and went their separate ways without ever acting on their feelings. Ten years later, Lola has recently been laid off from her job as a marketing associate in New Orleans and moved back to their hometown of Green Valley, Tennessee, where she's living with her Aunt Polly and working as a waitress while she figures out her next career move. She's finally pursuing her dream of hosting a dating podcast with her best friend Marly, but other than that, the one thing she's certain of is that she doesn't want to stay in Green Valley. Jed, meanwhile, is happily settled as a Green Valley firefighter, living in the house across the street from his widowed father and spending time with his sisters, nieces, and nephew whenever possible. When he learns that Lola's back in town, he seizes the opportunity to finally ask her out. She agrees for the sake of the podcast, but is surprised to find that she wants to keep seeing Jed afterwards. Can Jed convince Lola to give him - and Green Valley - a real chance?

I adored this funny, sweet, and heartwarming story, which featured likeable, relatable characters and an engaging plot. The chemistry between Lola and Jed was fantastic from the moment they first saw each other again, and their teasing and banter was a ton of fun. Further, the challenges they faced seemed quite realistic; Jed's roots in Green Valley ran deep, while Lola was ready to leave again as soon as she found the right job. Finally, there were many aspects of the story that I found to be laugh-out-loud funny. My favorite scenes were when Jed caught Lola dancing to Flo Rida in the Piggly Wiggly and when she and Marly watched the fire safety demonstration. Poor Lola just couldn't seem to catch a break, embarrassing herself in front of Jed over and over again.

I highly recommend "Parks and Provocation" for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. It was the first book I've ever read by this author, but it won't be the last. (I'd love a future book about Lola's best friend Marly!)

About "Parks and Provocation"

"Parks and Provocation," an all new enemies-to-lovers small town romance from Juliette Cross, is available now in Kindle Unlimited!

Lola Landry stares through the window of her locked car with the keys in the ignition and the radio blaring Beck’s “Loser.” While standing there and sweltering in the soupy Tennessee humidity, she wonders how her orderly life had crashed and burned so badly. Then her high school nemesis saunters up in all of his tall, strapping, fireman-to-the-rescue glory, slapping her with the humiliating proof that it can always get worse.

When the uber-confident Jedediah Lawson requests a date in return for popping her lock, a lightbulb goes off. Revenge is sweet. He would make the perfect victim—guest, that is—for her next podcast episode on Kiss and Tell. What shocks her is the casual way he not only agrees to the post-date interview on air, but ends up hijacking her audience and wooing them with his swoony, southern charm. Not even a low score on the date-o-meter can dissuade the man or keep her fans from demanding more of the charismatic Jed.

What’s worse, she secretly wants a second date with this man who is so different from his teenage self. His unwavering patience and dimpled smile erodes her will, until she breaks the Kiss and Tell rules by agreeing to a second…and a third date. It’s a disaster. Not the date. They’re wonderful. The disaster is that she is falling for a man she once dubbed Jockstrap Jed.

"Parks and Provocation" is a full-length contemporary romance and can be read as a standalone. Book #2 in the Green Valley Heroes series, Green Valley Chronicles, Penny Reid Book Universe.

Read an Excerpt from "Parks and Provocation"

“Fancy meeting you here,” he said when I finally reached him.

“Fancy that,” I sassed back.

I tried monumentally hard to force my eyes to behave, but they were currently mapping the extensive breadth of his chest without my permission. As a matter of fact, they’d found their newest obsession, tracking the descent of a drop of water that looped around his navel and froze midway down his happy trail.

“What brings you here, Cola?”

I jerked my gaze back to his mischievous grin, contemplating ways to torture my best friend.

I was also debating whether leaning forward and licking him would be inappropriate. “Um, learning fire safety?”

His bark of laughter and dimpled smile detonated somewhere inside my chest and melted my insides into warm goo. Which, of course, drew my attention to his beautiful mouth and the fact that he intended to kiss me with that mouth on our next date.

“Let me guess,” he finally said, amusement still prevalent in every word. “Marly?”

“So, I’ve been wondering if stretching her on a rack would be forgiven by local law enforcement. Do you think they’d give me a free pass, considering,” I waved my hand at him and the surrounding scene behind him, “all this?”

“By this, you mean dragging you to watch a dozen firemen strut around without their shirts on?”

“So y’all do know that half of Green Valley’s womenfolk are gawking at you from across the street, right? Only half of which are actual moms of the scouts? If that.”

He nodded and exhaled a sigh, but that wicked smile remained in place. “Chief McClure said it’s a local tradition, and the fine ladies of Green Valley also donate generously to our annual fundraiser, so we just do as we’re told.”

“Basically, this is a Magic Mike show, minus the actual lap dances, where you get your tips at a later time.”

He edged closer, my eyes betraying me once again to dip down along his beautiful body, realizing that delectable drop of water had slipped down into the holy land.

“I’ll give you a lap dance for free if you like, Lola.”
