Today, I am super excited to participate in the re-release blitz celebrating the Happily Ever After series by Joslyn Westbrook. Each book has received a stunning new cover and is now available on all retailers.
As part of the blitz, I had the opportunity to review "Princessa-ish," book #3 of the series. I very much enjoyed this fast-paced, funny, and sweet yet steamy story. The chemistry between main characters Arabella and Grayson was fantastic, and while Grayson described their connection
as "insta-love" at one point, I felt like they got to know each other pretty well before they exchanged those three little words. Their relationship moved quickly, but Arabella and Grayson spent a significant amount of time together, so their feelings were completely believable to me.
Arabella and Grayson were both quite likeable, and it was easy for me to cheer them on to their HEA. I particularly loved that they were both such hard workers; they could have chosen to sit back and live off their parents' money, but instead they both built successful businesses of their own. I also loved that Grayson was such a romantic in spite of his playboy reputation. One of my favorite moments from the book was when he set up a picnic on the beach for Arabella to recreate his favorite scene from the telenovela he used to watch with his mother.
Overall, "Princessa-ish" was a lot of fun and I am happy to recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. I will definitely be picking up the earlier books in the series and look forward to seeing what Joslyn Westbrook writes next.
