Blog Tour + Review: "Good to be Bad" by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente

Today, I'm thrilled to join the blog tour promoting the release of "Good to be Bad" by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente, book #3 of the Good Love series (formerly known as the Good in Bed series). Characters from the previous books make brief appearances in this one, but it reads as a complete standalone.

"Good to be Bad" was an instant connection romance that turned into a sort-of enemies-to-lovers when female lead Gigi James discovered that her new romantic interest, handsome Brit Weston "West" Byron, was not only the owner of the tea shop opening across the street from her family's pie shop, they would also be competing against each other for the title of Brooklyn's Mr./Mrs. Sweet Stuff. Despite the conflict, West and Gigi were super cute together, and their chemistry was too much for either of them to resist even though they were supposed to be adversaries. I loved that they bonded over their mutual "nerdiness," which included a fondness for Rubik's cubes and games like Scrabble and Monopoly, and their banter (especially the double entendres) was hilarious.

The book's secondary characters were also a tremendous amount of fun and added a great deal of depth and humor to the story. I particularly enjoyed Gigi's brother Harrison; I would absolutely read a future story about him. West's sister Abby and their new friend/fellow chef Willow were also great candidates for future stories.

Overall, I loved this funny, sweet, and heartwarming story. I highly recommend "Good to be Bad" for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. Hopefully there are many more collaborations ahead for Blakely and Valente!

About "Good to be Bad"

It was only supposed to be one time...
But that red-hot one night stand from the party?
The sexy man in the suit who gave me more Os in a few hours than I've had in a year?

Turns out my charming British stranger is keeping a little secret.

He's as much of a whiz in the kitchen as he is in the bedroom and soon we'll be going head-to-head in NYC's biggest bake off.

My one-time lover is now my enemy. I vow to loathe him for all eternity, though that would be easier if I wasn't dying to get naked with him again.

But the more I learn more about my rival, the more I suspect he just might be everything I've wanted...

If only I knew how to let him in...

GOOD TO BE BAD is a sexy standalone romance in the Good Love series!
