I'm thrilled to take part in the blog tour celebrating the release of "Spring Fling" by Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee, episode #1 of the Dating Season series.
"Spring Fling" was a super cute, funny novella with the perfect amount of steam. Main character Chloe has had a crush on her best friend Charlotte's roommate, Austin, for some
time, but now that Austin has a girlfriend, Charlotte thinks it's time for Chloe to move on. Chloe reluctantly decides to give online dating a try, choosing personal trainer Finn as her first potential match. Their first few dates go well, but it's not long before Chloe starts to see red flags that make her doubt whether Finn is the right match for her.
Chloe was a fun lead character with a great sense of humor. I particularly enjoyed the random historical facts she shared with her friends as well as the stories about her Granny Mae, who sounds like a trip. I hope we actually get to meet Granny Mae in one of the upcoming installments of this series. I also enjoyed the dynamic between Chloe and Austin. I'm not giving up hope of a future relationship between the two of them, no matter how perfect his girlfriend Lucy may seem.
Overall, "Spring Fling" was an entertaining, quick read, and I recommend it for fans of chick lit and romantic
comedy. I'm excited to find out what happens in the next episode!

About "Spring Fling"
They say the best way to get over one man is to get under another one… and another. And another.
I’m on the wrong side of my quarter-life crisis. Dead-end job, lease ending, and single af. It’s made all the harder by knowing exactly who the perfect man for me is: my super hot, incredibly kind, and extremely taken friend Austin. What’s a girl to do but drown her troubles in pinot and let her bestie open her an account on a dating app?
If there are other men for me out there, I’m determined to find them. Spring is for new beginnings, and Finn’s abs are a perfect introduction to dating.
Unless, of course, perfection is as overrated as my new app.
