Release Blitz + Review: "Another Motherfaker" by Willow Aster and Laura Pavlov

Today, I'm delighted to take part in the release blitz celebrating "Another Motherfaker" by authors Willow Aster and Laura Pavlov, book #3 of the G.D. Taylors series. It works well as a standalone, though characters from the previous books in the series also make appearances in this one.

"Another Motherfaker" featured the second-oldest Taylor brother, Caden, and Cosette Dubois, the beautiful interior designer working with the brothers on their property development company's luxury hotel renovation. Caden had been nursing a bit of a crush on Cosette for some time, but he didn't think he had a chance with her because she was already dating Jeremy, the son of a family friend. As it turned out, Cosette had broken up with Jeremy several months earlier, but both Jeremy and Cosette's overbearing mother were having a tough time accepting that the relationship was over. In desperation, Cosette asked Caden to play along with her and pretend to be her date one night at a party, and a fake relationship quickly blossomed from there. Their romance never really felt fake to me, however; their playful flirting was a lot of fun, and it was easy to see how much they genuinely liked and respected each other.

This book made me laugh out loud so many times, but my favorite was when Cosette's mom, Vivienne, pretended to forget Caden's brothers' names and referred to Gus, Spence, and Jesse as Goose, Splinter, and Jackal. I also enjoyed Cosette's first experience with McDonald's, as well as the fact that Caden and his brothers continued to tease Gus about his aversion to olives. Gus can be such a drama queen, but he's always hilarious. Finally, I loved that the authors found a way to work Jesse's girlfriend Mya's mom and her terrible cooking into the story once again.

Overall, I adored "Another Motherfaker" and highly recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. This series has truly been a highlight of 2021 and just keeps getting better with each book. I can't wait to find out what's in store for us in the next installment.

About "Another Motherfaker"

A handsome contractor, a French goddess, and a snaggletoothed Yorkie - what could be better than that? It was all supposed to be fake, yet nothing has ever felt more real.

Cosette...
It’s time for a fresh start.
Out with the old and in with the new.
Except none of it is real.
Or it isn’t supposed to be.
My fake boyfriend happens to be the best relationship I’ve ever had.
And don’t even get me started on his dark eyes that I swear can see straight into my soul.
The way he makes me feel … everything about Caden Taylor is unexpected.

Caden...
I steer clear of relationships.
Especially the messy ones.
I keep things simple, and it works for me.
Until I agree to help out Cosette Dubois by pretending to date her.
The most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.
Kind and sweet and smart and talented.
Fake boyfriend … no problem.
I’m a giver that way.
Throw in a crazy ex, a Botox-injected mother who hates me, a snaggletoothed dog who can turn on a dime, and a woman I can’t stop thinking about.
Messy has never looked better.
