Release Blitz + Review: "The Secret Roommate" by Sara Ney

I'm thrilled to participate in the release blitz celebrating "The Secret Roommate" by Sara Ney, book #4 of the Accidentally in Love series. Characters from the previous books make appearances in this one, but it works well as a standalone.

Professional football player Duke Colter needs a place to hide from the press for a few weeks until the record-breaking deal he just signed with a new team is announced. Figuring that no one will look for him in an anonymous house in suburbia, his agent, Eli Cohen, arranges for him to stay with his girlfriend Molly's best friend, kindergarten teacher Posey Kettner. Unfortunately, they get off to a rough start; Duke arrives early and Posey, wearing earbuds while she works, doesn't hear him knocking. Believing that no one is home, Duke enters the house through an unlocked window and begins exploring his new space, frightening Posey when he strolls into her office unannounced. Normally sweet Posey decides to get revenge on Duke by scaring him back, setting off a prank war and laying the groundwork for a surprising friendship...and maybe more.

Posey and Duke were so fun and playful together, and even though they were opposites, their fiery chemistry was apparent from the moment they met. I loved how confident Duke was in every aspect of his life except for when he was trying to navigate his relationship with Posey, as well as how protective he was of her and his family. They really were a perfect match and I enjoyed their story tremendously.

I highly recommend this charming, laugh-out-loud funny story for all contemporary/sports romance and romantic comedy fans. "The Secret Roommate" was the best book of the series so far and I can't wait to find out what Sara Ney comes up with next.

About "The Secret Roommate"

All I need is a place to hide for a few weeks.

The paparazzi were on my ass 24/7 and I needed a bit of breathing room—an escape from the madness—before the media frenzy begins.

Sure, I could have gone to a secluded cabin in the woods—but I didn’t want to be bored out of my mind. I’d seen enough wide open spaces as a kid from Texas to last me a lifetime.

So instead, I let my agent hook me up with a modest house in the burbs where we didn’t think anyone would find me hiding in plain sight.

I’d have a roommate; but supposedly, she was going to give me space. Stay out of my way and respect my boundaries. According to my agent, I wouldn’t hear a peep from her.

Wrong. He was wrong about everything and now my life was never going to be the same.
