Something To Talk About by Samantha Baca
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
"Something to Talk About" by Samantha Baca, book #1 of the Whiskey Mountain series, was a fast-paced, funny, and sweet yet steamy story. The chemistry between main characters Owen and Maggie was apparent from the start, but Owen resisted his feelings for as long as he could because of baggage from the past that made him believe he was meant to be alone forever. Maggie, on the other hand, loved love and believed that there was a match out there for everyone, even though she hadn't found hers yet. She was incredibly mature for her age and I loved the thoughtful advice she gave through her relationship blog. Even though they faced a few challenges, Owen and Maggie made a great couple, and I was rooting for them the whole way.
Overall, I very much enjoyed this story and recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. I look forward to the next book in the series.
