Blog Tour + Review: "L.O.V.E." by Krissy Daniels

Today, I am very pleased to participate in the blog tour celebrating the release of "L.O.V.E." by Krissy Daniels. This book took me by surprise in the very best of ways and I loved it more than I ever could have anticipated. Based on the story's beginning, I was expecting it to be a cute, sweet, and fluffy read, but instead, it quickly turned into an angsty, engrossing rollercoaster that gave me all the feels. I read most of the book in one sitting, constantly on the edge of my seat, just waiting to see what would happen next.

I'm not a big believer in fate or love at first sight, but even I had to admit that it seemed like fate had a hand in bringing the main characters of this story, Natalie and Cole, together. They still had plenty of obstacles standing in the way of their relationship, and at times it seemed as if those obstacles just might be insurmountable. That said, both Cole and Natalie were very likeable, well-developed characters, and I appreciated how hard they both tried to do the right thing even when their hearts were pulling them in a different direction.

I highly recommend "L.O.V.E." for all fans of emotional contemporary romance and will be waiting with great anticipation to see what Krissy Daniels writes next.

About "L.O.V.E."

My relationship with Cole isn’t a simple one.
It’s complicated, frustrating and, at times, downright ugly.
You see, I fell for a man who couldn’t love me back.

Hard as I tried to avoid the dimpled prince of Seattle, life threw us together.
As much as I resisted temptation, he burrowed his way into my heart.
Sinful as our attraction was, our destinies were entwined.

But don’t worry. Ours is a love story after all. I had no idea how our fairytale would play out, but one thing I knew for certain?

Fate had a twisted sense of humor, and she did not play fair.

****

Nat King Cole. That’s what they called us.
Natalie was the sunshine in my gloomy existence, but she wasn’t mine.
We were friends at best. At least, that’s what we told ourselves.

Hard as I tried to stay away from the vibrant city girl, life shoved us together.
She was out of reach, but lived under my skin and haunted my dreams.
Despite the unshakable attraction, we never crossed the line.

You might say our relationship was a test of fidelity. And doing the right thing had never been more challenging. We may have toyed with destiny, but for damn sure…

We didn’t tempt fate. Fate tempted us.
