Release Blitz + Review: "Infamous Love" by Lea Coll

Today, I'm pleased to participate in the release blitz celebrating "Infamous Love" by Lea Coll, book #1 of the Mountain Haven series.

"Infamous Love" was a heartwarming small town romance featuring endearing characters and an engaging storyline. Former reality TV star Elle Carmichael moved to Telluride, Colorado to open an upscale barbershop, hoping to leave her reputation as a villain behind in Los Angeles. Upon her arrival, she met veterinarian Gray Stanton, who couldn't help being drawn to Elle despite having sworn off romantic relationships and other attachments. Very little about their romance was easy, due in large part to their determination to keep secrets from each other, which frustrated me at times. However, it was easy for me to root for them to work through all of the misunderstandings because they were both so likeable, and ultimately, I found their HEA to be very satisfying.

Elle and Gray were fortunate to have supportive friends in Piper, the stylist Elle hired to work in her barbershop with her, and Piper's brother Henry, who was also Gray's best friend from college. I hope Henry and Piper will each get stories of their own in the future.

In sum, I enjoyed "Infamous Love" and recommend it for all contemporary romance readers. I look forward to finding out what happens next in this new series.

About "Infamous Love"

Elle
Move away. Dye my hair. Change my name. Fly under the radar.
That's my plan to keep the public from recognizing me. I just want to be the new business owner of an old-fashioned barber shop, the ultimate man cave. But all anyone seems to remember is that I'm the bad girl on a popular reality show.

And when I meet the new sexy veterinarian, his gruff voice and grumpy manner get my blood pumping. His sweet way with animals makes me want to know everything about him.

For the first time in my life, cameras aren't broadcasting my every move. No producer is telling me what to say or do. No one's pushing me toward him.

This natural gravitation toward him is the realest thing I've ever felt.
But when my past collides with my present, everything comes crashing down around me.

I wish I could just hide, but I can't.

Gray
Escape my past. Keep my secrets buried. And secure the dream job.

That's my plan to change my life.
I'm living like I could pack up and leave at a moment's notice.
Now, my new boss won't sell me his practice unless I convince him I'm here to stay.

Fresh from LA, Elle Carmichael walks into my vet office with her puppy and plans for her business. With her sunny disposition and wide-eyed hope, she thinks she's a good fit for this town. As soon as her crazy business plan fails, she'll be gone.

Getting involved with her is the worst kind of trouble. It will only attract attention to my past, ruining my future.

I wish I could resist her, but I can't.
