I'm thrilled to take part in the release blitz celebrating "Collide with Me" by Claudia Burgoa, book #7 of the Baker's Creek Billionaire Brothers series. In a lot of ways, this book feels like a spinoff of the original series since it involves a new group of siblings, and it definitely works as a standalone.
Until Amber Livingstone's mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer, her job as a corporate attorney with her father's law firm was her whole life. She stepped away from work to spend as much time as possible with her mother in her final days, and now that she's passed away, Amber learns that her mother has one final request of her: a cross-country road trip to scatter her ashes at various tourist sites she always wanted to visit with her daughter. It's a problem for a couple of reasons; first, New York City native Amber doesn't drive, and second, her father is upset about her request for more time off work. Against her father's wishes, Amber decides to look for a driver and surprisingly finds one in Hutch Sanders, the son of a family friend. They've never been friends themselves - in fact, they don't really get along at all - but Amber's desperate and Hutch is her only option. For Hutch, the trip is a perfect excuse to escape the job he hates with his family's hedge fund and take some time to figure out what he wants to do with his life before his father cuts him off. The journey has barely begun before sparks begin to fly between them, and Hutch and Amber are about to learn that opposites really do attract.
This book was so much fun! I loved all of Amber and Hutch's road trip adventures, but as a Central Pennsylvania native, I have to admit their visit to Hersheypark and Chocolate World was my favorite. I also loved their witty banter and intense chemistry. They really seemed to bring out the best in each other; Hutch helped Amber find ways to let go of some of her anxiety, while Amber helped Hutch figure out his path in life.
I highly recommend "Collide with Me" for all contemporary romance and romantic comedy fans. I really hope the author will write stories for the rest of Hutch's siblings! I'm not quite ready to leave the Aldridge-Sanders clan or Baker's Creek behind.

About "Collide with Me"
USA TODAY bestselling author Claudia Burgoa continues a romantic comedy series of enemies who become lovers. A romance where opposites attract and being different leads to falling in love.
I love routine. Schedules. Stability.
And I’m about to travel across the country with an actual chicken and the one man who I would schedule a root canal to avoid.
How did this happen? Let me back up.
My mom had one final request of me before she died: to spread her ashes around the country while I completed her bucket list.
It won’t be easy, but I want to honor her wishes. However, I need some help (and I absolutely hate that).
I don’t have a license - or a car - and I need someone to drive who won’t mind my mom’s chicken, Hennifer Aniston, on board. My options have been narrowed to one person: Hutch Aldridge-Sanders.
I have no interest in hanging out with the spontaneous, easy-going bad-boy of New York. But he’s my only hope.
I’m dreading being in a car with Hutch’s free spirit for a couple of weeks. Throw in the chicken, and this is bound to be a disaster.
Except that I forgot that opposites don’t just attract—they make sparks fly.
Collide With Me is a sexy and steamy romance. Enjoy this opposites attract, close proximity romance where being different means your pieces fit just right, and coming back home means a new beginning.
