Release Blitz + Review: "Only One Chance" by Natasha Madison

I am very excited to participate in the release blitz celebrating "Only One Chance" by Natasha Madison, book #2 of the Only One series. It reads as a total standalone, but I adored the first book of the series, so I'd highly recommend picking it up in addition to this one.

I loved the banter between main characters Layla and Miller, and their chemistry was incredible. The slow burn of their relationship development had me on the edge of my seat for what felt like forever, but the payoff was definitely worth the wait. I also loved how determined Miller was to win Layla over and prove that he had outgrown the player lifestyle. For example, the dinner date he planned for her was very sweet, especially the bowl of questions he prepared in advance. Miller obviously put a lot of thought into their date and really tried to connect with Layla on more than just a physical level.

The book's secondary characters were just as wonderful as Miller and Layla themselves, especially Layla's Grandma Nancy, her best friend Candace, and Miller's teammates. Grandma Nancy was quite a handful, and even though I couldn't help laughing hysterically throughout the entire scene, I felt bad for Miller when Layla tricked him into taking Nancy on a date instead of her. I also felt bad for Miller's team captain, Manning, stuck in a miserable marriage and unable to leave without losing his son. Fortunately, there's light at the end of the tunnel for Manning because his story is coming up next in the series!

Overall, I very much enjoyed "Only One Chance" and would recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series.

About "Only One Chance"

From USA Today Bestselling author Natasha Madison comes a brand new hockey series, Only One!

Miller
They called me the pretty boy on and off the ice. Hockey’s most eligible bachelor.

When my teammate asked me to donate one date to his charity, I figured why not. Worst case, I’d spend the night with a fan. Best-case scenario, she would be hot. What I wasn’t expecting was for my dream girl to be the highest bidder.

For years, she brushed me off, and now, I finally had a chance to take her out and show her who I really was.

With only one shot at this, I really hoped I didn’t mess it up.

Layla
At the top of my career, I was riding the wave of my sports talk show having the best rating on the radio.

I also made it a rule to never date any sports players.

It was my one rule, and I was sticking to it until I bid on the only man who gets under my skin.

All it takes is one touch, one night, one kiss, and only one chance.
