Release Blitz + Review: "The Last Eligible Billionaire" by Pippa Grant

I'm thrilled to participate in today's release blitz celebrating "The Last Eligible Billionaire" by Pippa Grant.

Hayes Rutherford, newly appointed CFO of the Razzle Dazzle family movie and entertainment empire, just wants to be left alone to figure out the accounting discrepancy he recently discovered in the company's financials. Unfortunately, his mother is determined to marry him off, and it seems no place is safe from her matchmaking schemes. Meanwhile, high school art teacher Begonia Fairchild is looking for adventure in the wake of her recent divorce. She hopes to find herself again after trying (and failing) for years to mold herself into her ex-husband's idea of a perfect wife. The first step on the path to a new and improved Begonia is supposed to be a two-week vacation at a rental property in Maine, but it doesn't exactly work out as planned when Hayes shows up and informs her that she's in his house. At first, Hayes is determined to make Begonia leave, but he quickly realizes that she might actually be able to help him by acting as his fake girlfriend, hopefully putting a stop to his mother's attempts at matchmaking.

I'm not sure if I have the words to adequately express how much I loved this book. I read the whole thing with a smile on my face. Hayes and Begonia were complete opposites, but their personalities complemented each other perfectly. I loved that Begonia didn't put on an act with Hayes or pretend to be someone she wasn't. She was so genuinely sweet and caring that it was impossible for him not to fall in love with her. I also enjoyed the hilarious antics of Begonia's dog, Marshmallow.

I can't recommend "The Last Eligible Billionaire" highly enough for all contemporary romance and romantic comedy fans. I'm sure that it will find a place on my "favorite books of 2022" list! I can't wait to find out what Pippa Grant comes up with next.

About "The Last Eligible Billionaire"

Emotionally unavailable doesn’t even begin to describe my new fake boyfriend. He’s cold. He’s distant. He has more defenses than a nuclear missile silo. And he’s the ultimate catch of the century. At least, according to his bank statement.

My job’s simple: Keep Hayes Rutherford’s matchmaking relatives and all interested ladies away from the cranky, grumpy, walled-off heir to my favorite movie empire, and in return, he won’t ruin my life over a teensy, tiny little misunderstanding.

But the more I sneak past Hayes’s walls and fences, the more I realize that while we might be from different worlds, we have more in common than either of us expected. The man under all the glitz, glamour, and dollar signs could be the real love of my life.

But you know what they say about fake dating a billionaire—it’s all fun and games until the scandals start.

The Last Eligible Billionaire is a swoony, laugh-out-loud romance featuring a botched wax job, a woman in over her head, a man in over his heart, and the sweetest misguided dog to ever play matchmaker…or at least make sure these two anti-love birds never have clothes when they get out of the shower.
